I wore this to school the other day unknowing just how ostracized I would be. Going to a school where only a single casual day is provided a month has caused me to forget entirely how negatively people perceive what I wear! Even the shoes, the sweet, innocent shoes from my childhood were glared at. And not with jealousy if that's what you're thinking. Be envious, by the way, that my dress cost $5.00, that way I won't be so upset that a good majority of you get to wear real clothes to school.

and ugh. i hated, hated, hated, hated my stupid private school. we had dress code every day but every month we got a special "treat" where we got to wear jeans. how elementary. and yes, everyone would make fun of me if i dared to where anything outside their little clique uniform. so glad i can dress how i wish now.

I love your dress! Getting to wear your own clothes when you have a uniform is slightly stressful, either people dress up or they wear tracks, some people even get new outfits.

Oh dear hun, please do not let these childish kids sever a nerve with you. Your outfits are adorable and really you must try and be happy with your own style although i know it can be difficult when others are commenting. I suppose i just want to say i know how you feel (went to a school just like that) but in time you realise that their opinions don't matter whatsoever.
